Warranties

Warranties can be confusing. This page will explain them

Most products within the Industrial-Stores site are warranted by the manufacturer and that period of time will vary product to product. Some Products, typically the more complex ones such as air compressors, actually have more than one warranty! The pump may have a warranty, the motor may have another and the balance of the unit will sometimes have a third!

So why the multiple warranties? Simple. Each component that makes up an air compressor (to continue with that example) generally comes with its own warranty. The switches, the motor and the pump all have a warranty. Generally speaking, this will provide you with a more comprehensive warranty where it counts, such as an extended pump warranty.

A good analogy would be an automotive warranty that has a 100,000 mile "power train" warranty. So, if you have questions, please ask. That is what we are here for!
